From [livejournal.com profile] swankyfunk:

1. Reply to this post, and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon squee. Whoo!

1.
[livejournal.com profile] majorweather made this for me a long time ago, saying that this image reminded her of me. I thought that was very sweet, and I use it for posts and comments where I'm feeling not quite as snarky. I have a lot of cranky icons, so this one gets a bit of a workout.

2.
Hi Dad! *waves* My dad is one of the silliest people I know. But there aren't that many goofy pictures of him in the world, so I treasure this one. I use this one as my "Y Helo Thar" icon.

3.
Darkplace, Darkplace, Darkplace, Darkplace! Lots more here. I love me some horror-medical-faux 80s spoof, it was big love at first sight. If you like Mystery Science Theater 3000, you probably will, too.

4.
Jamie and Zoe, the Second Doctor's Companions, in a scene from The Mind Robber, an episode I enjoy muchly. I use this one when I talk about books, which I don't seem to do that much of lately because I've been a little too scattered and anxious to settle down. Although last night I picked up Tipping the Velvet and am enjoying it quite a lot, thanks for asking.

5.
I don't know where I got this one, but it obviously was done during one of my periods where I was feeling weirdly defensive about fandom. I need to shitcan it and replace it with more Hot Fuzz icons.

And now that [livejournal.com profile] annlarimer showed me how to insert pictures in the comments, the world is my oyster, bwahahaha!

If you decide to play, I promise to respond before 2019.

I already have about half a dozen of these I need to respond to, but I am powerless to resist.

Random question for a person who just might know the answer: What is the fiction that is most prominently slashied up? My guess was the Harry Potter series overall.
