here, have a cat macro

Casey likes to sit in the sunroom even when it's blistering cold outside because, you know-- SUN! The only time you can see a cat bake and shiver at the same time.

We used to have a cat who would yowl to go outside when it was below freezing, and you'd open the door thinking he'd turn right around and come back in when he realized how cold it was, but no. He'd sit huddled at the edge of the back porch, shivering, until you dragged him back in bodily. Cats are silly.

Vali had to do that to Casey the other day, same thing-- aren't you cold, you furry headcase?

Cats are all made of liquid goofballs.

Wait, you call it "baking" too!? I thought my roommate was the only one who did that! Do cat people have their own secret lexicon?

yep, pretty much

When you see them soaking up the sun, "baking" is the best way to describe the process. Casey'll stay in the sunroom so long she'll sunburn the inside of her ears. I've had to apply lotions.

Awww. :D Get her in the right mood, with enough sunlight and treats, and the hairbrush on the face? She'll be yours forever!
