I am more excited about today than I was about Christmas, New Year's and my birthday combined. I was going to take the day off but now I'm glad I decided not to-- it's fun to be at work wearing my new Obama t-shirt and it's getting lots of compliments.
And I'm wearing a skirt today. What? It's a special occasion! My inaugural ball gown.

That goes for Republicans as well as Democrats. It's been pretty nasty on our side these last several months, and now that the other side is the loyal opposition, I hope we can take a cue from our president and be gracious, responsible winners.
I'm back in the office now, warming up. I'm thrilled the Obamas got out of their car. Cheers, cheers, cheers!

I hope we can take a cue from our president and be gracious, responsible winners.
That's my hope as well. We've got too much work to do.
