Twilight is vile. It is a clearly abusive relationship between Edward and Bella (in that he's constantly manipulating her) and the thing I hate most about it is that it celebrates the fact that Bella will never grow up...never be a strong woman in her own right and that she'll always have this little coven of people around her telling her what to do. It really, really sucks Mer. I have read it...or enough of it to know how bad it sucks, and I'm as double-x chromo as you get without really trying.
