I feel like I'm going to barf.
This should make for an interesting bike ride home.
ETA: Made it home in one piece and my intestines still fulla junk. I know you're all relieved. I even did some grocery shopping. Nao moar hedexplodey y/y.
My mom had her birthday today, so I called her and wished her well. She celebrated all weekend with Shelley and it sounds like they had a grand time. She sounded calm and content, which is all I wish for her. She still misses her grandson, but who wouldn't? He's inhell Texas and can't see him as much as she'd like.
She is fond of saying that her birthday comes on the same week as Tax Day and the sinking of the Titanic. I tell her good things come in threes.*
*I DID NOT SAY THAT. I love my mother. We argue and bicker to show that we care.

well...not giving advice per se, but this is how I'm handling my pollen-induced allergy onslaught:
one benadryl, 4 tsp cough syrup that has guifenisin and /only/ guifenisin...NO dextromethorphan or anything else...just guifenisin Robitussin or any generic will do, so long as it doesn't have anything but guifenisin in it (you don't want to double up), and two sudafed (regular, not pe, and once again, nothing but straight sudafed.
I take that every 4-5 hours and I'm also wearing an unbelieveably sexy white dust mask when I take my dogs into the woods (it's sexy 'cos it keeps me breathing). This'll only have to go on for @ week until the oak or pine or whatever is responsible for my misery stops doing its thing. Thanks be to God that I finally have found a system that stops this mess from progressing (usually I finish up one of these bouts with bronchitis :P).
