I hope I can cross the border safely. I hope to see my friend and shake his hand. I hope the Pacific Ocean is as blue as it has been in my dreams. I hope.

I love the movie The Shawshank Redemption so so much.

This is going to sound really defensive, but i like things that end on sour notes less and less. I know the world can be a horrible bad place, i don't need it pounded in. God knows enough bad things happened in TSR, but I'd rather see things and participate in things that make me feel hopeful and leave me on a high note like that movie did.

Where did i hear once that in depressed times people wanted to see more comedies, and during relatively calm times people like to see darker stuff? I'm not feeling depressed right now, it's nothing like that-- it's just that i don't like to finish something feeling unnecessarily squashed.

I formally forgive Morgan Freeman for being in Seven, quite possibly the worst movie ever made. He's paid his debt, and i'm feeling fine.

I'm at the library looking for copies of Chocolate War and Beyond the Chocolate War and a kid looking in the same row as i am says to me, "the great thing about the library is that there are so many videos to choose from!" pointing to the Thomas and Friends vid collection they have nearby.

"What are you looking for?" he asks.

I'm looking for a book, but i can't seem to find the right one...

He looks at me like i'm a little nuts. "But there are so many!"

I thought that was so cute. Why don't you just pick another book, you big silly?

But with a little help from my pal, i get steered in the right direction. Adults are insane is probably what he's thinking.

I was also informed of the fact that Wishbone comes on first thing on MPT, and that Casey Jones is a really neat show too, but an engineer, not a conductor, as i first thought.
