a few minutes ago i get an automatic reply from the Howard Dean people. because i didn't participate in their conference call this week, we assume that you're not the Meetup host at your site, shot at dawn etc etc etc. where were you?
i didn't show up at the conference call this week because a) I forgot and b) if i had remembered, i'd remember that the last time i participated in thiscomplete waste of time nationwide call I was amazed at how little could be done by so many people, and i used to be in the Army. i resolved not to waste my minutes on something so stupid (that could've easily been done over email) ever again. but enjoy my Meetup hosting, and letter writing, and money giving, and...feh. i'm definitely taking one automatic reply a bit too seriously.
Vali's home Vali's home!

i was trying to find a way to say that i want to be active in politics but at a participation level i feel comfortable with, and that i want to unsub from MoveOn because i think they're tuneless year-old fags (sorry Heathers) and that both sides make me want to scream sometimes with the pompousness, but i think i just did. i hate that i can be pompous too when i talk about stuff like this. it's genuine when i write about it, and then i read it later and go ::yick::.
